Another ministry blessing!

Just this week I received an email from a 75yr old woman searching for an image of our Lord she had when she was 16 and hadn’t seen since. I needed a break from working on the store and went searching. How awesome that in very short time the Lord led me to a small church in England where the original hangs and their gift shop sells prints of it. How she had this print in the USA I will never know… but her joy in her reply email and mine at being led to it for her is what this ministry is all about.  I know what it means to have your specific loved image of Christ. I found an old, scratched image of Christ shellacked on a block of wood in an abandoned house when I was 14. It touched me deeply and I still have it on my worship table today. Every day brings blessings helping & sharing with you all. I am learning how to “blog” to post these for you all to read. God is sooo good.. and moving strongly through everyone to minister in some way now.  May these posts uplift us all!

Art Here Today… GONE Tomorrow?

I have learned that things change quickly in the Christian art world. What is available today may indeed not be here tomorrow!  (more on this later) If an image of our Lord speaks to you, then get it when you can. I am not saying this to make sales, I am being honest. Last fall my top seller was no longer available in 3 popular versions and over 10 loved classics went out of production altogether. This spring a large publisher dropped religious images and one of the very largest is rumored to be closing its doors very soon! Then theres limited editions and copyright exclusions, where availability is first come, first served till gone. I am having problems publishing a catalog as changes are so rapid. Its truly not what I expected when I began in this ministry..

An Art Museum of Our Lord

Please pray with us that we will find resources to open a museum of the art of our Lord. I have much antique art that I cannot display in our store (as the images are not available) and have customers whose vintage art will also be contributed. As wonderful as the local gallery is to our visitors, how much more so would a gallery be to the world! Our New Store!!!

I am sooo excited about our new Jesus Art storefront! Its great to now have nice add-ons like “Wish Lists” for everyone (I’ve got mine!) & this blog to talk about whats going on. Theres still lots to be changed over and new things to learn, but already I can see how this is going to be a blessing in soo many ways.

Until the switchover is complete, you will have a choice to shop in either our old or new store. Please add us to your prayers during this huge transition and let us know of any glitches. Enjoy!
